BYU Football

Well I've had my 15 seconds of fame (for any of you who watched the game last week ya that was me on tv!) and could have not asked for a better way to have it. I didn't go to a high school with a football team so coming here to BYU and having them every week with the awesome student/fan atmosphere is all and more than I could have asked for. I love putting on my Rise Up t-shirt and walking across campus to go sit in my stadium seat and then watch my team. I love the spirit here at BYU. So in this picture I am just to the left of Van Noy's right elbow and then next to me are two of my roommates and my friend! We had so much fun being front row last week... honestly we had the best seats in the whole stadium! GO COUGARS! Tonight we play Utah State and in between the first and second quarter watch the student section for the flash mob. It's going to be EPIC!

Can't Believe It

Ok so who would have thought that I'm old enough to have my friends leaving for missions? Crazy! But I am so proud of them all! They are all so happy and excited, and it just fills me with joy to see so many righteous young men going out to serve the Lord. I won't see them for two years, but I know that they are doing what is right and helping enrich the lives around them and bringing lost souls unto the truth! Go Elders! Go forth and serve!

I Take It All Back

Ok so you're going to need a little background information inorder to understand why I am suddenly having a change of heart. All growing up I have hated going to museums why in the world would I want to go to school full time and then go to a museum and learn more? Well I have learned that I really enjoy learning when I can just walk around and read, see, and learn it for myself. Also, I don't like to sit, stare, and ponder over art work. It's art, you look at it and it's pretty end of story. (I always find it funny when people stand there and just look at a beautiful painting trying to find every hidden meaning... I guess I just take things at face value) So today I went to the MOA (BYU's Museum of Art) and loved every minute of it... can't wait to go back! Ok, you're probably wondering what this picture is of. Well my first thing to say to that is go to the MOA! But since not all of you can I will spoil the surprise... Its a HUGE stack of books in the shape of an irregular pentagon I believe (maybe a square... I was too engrossed in the workmanship of it all). There is a feeling on BYU's campus that I just cannot explain. I am always happy and overjoyed! I highly recommend going to the MOA to enjoy the beautiful art work there... even if you are not a museum person. My whole perspective has changed!

Back in Time

90's Dance... I love the college life. There is always something fun to be doing. Last night I went to a 90's dance. Like the outfits? It was so much fun and soo crowded. But we didn't just dance we played laser tag and black light miniature golfing. We had so much fun!

My New Obsession: LOST

I know, I know, I know, I'm way way behind on this, but better late than never right? I have recently found the show Lost. For years I have heard about how good it is, but have never taken the time to see for myself. Well, I LOVE it! It's awesome. Now I can be in the know and talk to other avid watchers

And I’m doing just fine

I’m always landing on my feet

In the nic of time

And by the skin of my teeth

I ain’t gonna stress

Cause the worst ain’t happened yet

Somethings watching over me

Like Sweet Serendipity

Sweet Serendipity

I Just Might BURST!

I cannot express the happiness that I have had for the past two weeks! I love it here at BYU... the Spirit here is soooo strong! I love the gospel with all my heart and to be able to talk about it whenever I want and for everyone around me to completely understand me is awesome! I literally walk around campus with a smile on my face for no reason at all. I cannot explain the gratitude I have in my heart for everything. Before I left the nest I was so worried about doing well in school, having enough time, being productive enough and to top it all I was concerned about money. But I walk around without a care in the world, and I know I will be just fine as long as I live righteously and do what is right. Life is wonderful! I have the greatest friends in the world and life is just grand! I hope you understand my happiness about what I am saying and this is not just rambling... it probably is but whatever! And I also hope that you can see the beauty and happiness in your own life!

My Spiritual Thought For The Day

I love this gospel and for all the good it has brought into my life. I know that everything I have comes from my Heavenly Father. He loves me and I love Him! I know that through prayer and living righteously we can be blessed. In Doctrine and Covenants 19:38 it says, "Pray always, and I will pour out my Spirit upon you, and great shall be your blessing --yea, even more than if you should obtain treasures of earth and corruptibleness to the extent thereof."

Life at BYU

Well I now have my own blog. Now you can see me and what I'm up to.

So in the past 2 weeks my life has changed drastically. I now live with the 3 most amazing girls ever! Everyone we meet asks how long we've been friends and are so surprised when we tell them we met 2 weeks ago (exactly!). We're literally like sisters!
